Availability for every day, all year round from Catania with free transfers from your accommodation. Guided tour of 8 hours which tells the biology, geology and volcanology of the Etna Volcano. You will have the opportunity to walk in paths surrounded by nature, away from tourist areas and on several dormant craters. The fauna and flora of Etna will be your traveling companions in the story of a unique territory in terms of endemicity. A fantastic tasting of wines, liqueurs, honey and much more will make you discover the flavors of the Volcano. With the Etna Volcano back, in company of marine biologist and under water ambient guide we follow the way for the beautiful lavic seabed of Marine Protected Area “Isola deiCiclopi” (Aci Castello). Underwater columnar basalt, lava ropes, lava pillows and a colored sea life and plants will be the unique scenery for an unforgettable snorkeling excursion.

We were welcomed back to the dive shop where we were able to eat our lunch and change in privacy before the wonders of snorkeling. Loved by us all, beautiful fish and lava rocks. Could have done it for hours! Thank you Gerry.
Alongside this there were some great tips of further things to do in the area that were appreciated and used.

Due esperienze diverse, ma magnifiche.
- nella prima è stato un bel giretto intorno alle isole dei ciclopi, le guide Andrea e Jerry sono state molto competenti a spiegarci tutto: come è nato l'Etna e con le sue eruzioni ha praticamente formato le rocce dove secoli dopo la gente ha costruito i paesi. Le leggende su Polifemo ed Ulisse, e sui tipi di pesce che avremmo visto facendo snorkeling. Premetto che noi non siamo dei gran nuotatori, ma Jerry ha avuto tanta pazienza e ci ha dato i Co siglo giusti per affrontare in maniera giusta questa attività, e dopo qualche minuto di adattamento io e mia moglie siamo riusciti a goderci i fondali (aiutati dal salvagente).
- escursione sull'Etna con Orazio, divertentissima, anch'esso è una guida molto preparata e simpatica. Ci siamo goduti la giornata come se fossimo un gruppo di amici di vecchia data.
Da segnalare anche una tappa dove abbiamo fatto degustazioni di oli extravergine di oliva, vini e altri prodotti, presso una impresa locale alle pendici del vulcano.
L'Etna è indescrivibile... È come andare in montagna, troverete un bel bosco, tanto verde (non lo avrei mai detto), si raggiunge quota 2000 metri come sulle dolomiti, troverete negozi di souvenir, bar e ristoranti dove mangiare e fare rifornimento. Il tutto su una cornice unica, con i suoi lapilli, colate e crateri, vi sembrerà di essere su un altro pianeta.
Se siete in gita da queste parti non fate la cavolata di visitare solo i paesi! Mettete assolutamente in preventivo di fare queste 2 gite e di farlo con questi ragazzi! Sono stati i soldi meglio spesi della nostra vacanza!!!
We hebben een zeer goede uitleg gekregen en hadden een hele gevarieerde dag! Een echte aanrader voor zij die zowel van de zee als het berglandschap houden! We kregen ook de kans om te proeven van honing en wijn. Alles werd coronaproef geregeld!
