This is a Group Tour 6 hours sailing experience (from 10am to 16pm). We will cruise through the Gulf of Catania, see the Etna and Catania by the sea, sailing along the Coast of the Cyclops, swim in front the Ulisse's Grotto. At Lunch time we will go first in front the medieval Castle of Aci Castello, then we will stop the boat in front of the Faraglioni Rocks near the natural reserve "Isole dei CICLOPI", there you can go dive or snorkeling renting the equipment (Extra option) or have fun swimming around the sailboat in that crystal waters. In the while time we will prepare the lunch on board to let you enjoy a typical sicilian menu prepared on board from our sailor chef. At the end we will set the sail to go back to Catania port and we will provide some sailing notions or we can continue with the party on boat.

Castello Normanno

The Medieval castle by the sea. The castle is situated on a rocky outcrop jutting out into the sea. It was built in 1076 by the Normans upon the foundations of a 7th-century Byzantine fortification. In 1169, Aci Castello started to expand after an eruption of Mount Etna made the towns in its vicinity uninhabitable

Mount Etna

Cruising along the coast of the vulcano, you will see the Mount etna smoking on top, and you will go where Etna was born. We will sail through the place where the Submarine Volcanic activity first took place about 500,000 years ago, with eruptions occurring beneath the sea off the ancient coastline of Sicily.

An extraordinary experience

Yesterday was our second sailing experience with Ivan, and it was just as great as the first time. Ivan is very welcoming and interesting to talk to and listen about his sea adventures. The coast is wonderful and the trip was amazing. We'll definitely repeat it again with Ivan when we come back next time.

Great experience to visit the Cyclops Islands , we celebrated our partners birthdays and had a a nice time. The sailing experience was relaxing and peaceful. The team provided a good service making sure we are comfortable and had everything needed . The food was also tasty with fresh appetizers and a tasty summer pasta for lunch . Thanks to the team for the excellent service !
