What To Expect
Isola Bella
The little island of Isola Bella â formerly called Santo Stefano â is connected to the mainland by a short sandy path, submerged or above sea-level depending on the tide. The island is landscaped with a series of small terraces linked by small stairways and pathways.
Lady Florence Trevelyan, bought Isola Bella, built a charming house and established a garden there that became the home of various sea birds. After Florenceâs death Isola Bella stayed in private hands until 1990 when it was taken over by the Regional Government of Sicily who designated it a Nature Reserve. The island is surrounded by sea grottos and has a small and rather rocky beach which is a popular destination for sunbathers.

Nice day with lunch!

Really nice trip. Our guide, Peppe, was very fun and knowledgeable about the island. We had a nice tour with 2 swimming spots and a delicious lunch afterwards. Fruit and Prosecco on the boat were a nice touch.

A fabulous day on a small boat ( 10 of us) exploring around the coast and rock formations at Isola Bella. Went into the Blue Cave which was gorgeous. Several opportunities to jump in and enjoy the crystal clear cool water and enjoy a fruit treat on board. A wonderful relaxing afternoon ending with lunch at Pizzichella with several options. Can't recommend it highly enough!
